The one where he passed

I just had to say "CONGRATS" to my hubby for being sooo amazing and passing his LAST MATH class!

When Kev decided to go into Mechanical Engineering, he was mainly worried about the math. He hasn't ever felt very confident in it, yet he took the challenge and ran with it. He has worked incredibly hard, and I am just endlessly proud of him. Love ya Kevs!

The one where we beat the odds

I once heard that the majority of divorces happen before seven years of marriage. I wasn't worried or anything, but it's nice to announce that . . .

WE BEAT THE ODDS!

Seven happy years of marriage

We celebrated our anniversary this year in
Steamboat Springs, Colorado
.

We did a little hiking. . .

horseback riding. . .

a little midnight dipping in some hot springs. . .

sorry, no photo on that one ;)

chillin' at the condo. . .

shopping. . .

went on a really romantic sleigh ride. . .

up to this hide-away cabin where we were served a delicious dinner. . .

did a little lasso-in'. . .

and Kev teased me for having this thing for the cowboys

but there was only ONE cowboy I had eyes for. . .

It was the best anniversary yet. Thanks Kev for everything: The trip, the fun time we had on the trip, and asking me to marry you in the first place. I'm so lucky to have you.

The one when my kids go out

Halle and Drew have always been VERY deep sleepers. They get it from their dad. Once they're out, it's like they turn into little sacks of potatoes. It's crazy. Litterally, you could pick them up, swing them around by their feet...all without waking them. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that we've actually tried that. lol.

It's not so convenient when you're trying to go somewhere or get them to eat something. We've got pictures of them alseep at the dinner table, or asleep on the stairs, etc. Here's one picture I took a few weeks ago when Drew just.couldn't.quiet.keep.his.eyes.open. Brushing his teeth, of course.
Anyway, so last night we got home late and the kids were really tired. We pulled in the driveway and started unloading the car. Within a few minutes, here were our kids:
Halle makes it to the couch
Spiderman sleeping in the driveway

Awesome! :)

The one where I lived

Hello :)

To those of you who are wondering: Yes, I am alive!!! No I haven't completely forgotten about blogging. Life at our house has been ultra busy the last few months. I've got a bunch of half-finished blog entries to finish up and post. So they'll be coming...but they'll probably show up UNDER this post, in chronilogical order.

I'll do my best to catch up and then (cross fingers) stay caught up???

We'll see.
